What is a Globe Valve (DIN)?
A globe valve is a type of control valve that regulates the opening between the disc and the seat surface via the up-and-down movement of the stem. The globe valve design, dimensioned according to DIN/EN standards, delivers repeatable modulation and tight shut-off performance in steam, condensate, heating-cooling, chemical and water/wastewater lines. With the right trim and sealing combination, it operates reliably against high temperature, corrosion and differential pressure.
